Here is a beautiful Gibson Dove Electro-Acoustic Guitar.
The Dove is one of Gibsons most famous acoustic guitar shapes. Introduced in 1962, the Dove was based on the Martin Dreadnought shape guitars. The Dove has a Maple design, which made it brighter compared to Gibsons Hummingbird design. The Dove also has a slightly longer scale length compared to a Hummingbird.
Made in 2011, this Dove features a Sitka Spruce Top with Maple Back & Sides. The Maple has a lovely Flame, which really gives the guitar a wow factor! It is finished in a Nitrocellulose Antique Cherry finish. The neck is a 3 piece Maple Neck with a 25.5" Scale and a Rosewood Fingerboard with Parallelogram Mother of Pearl Inlays. Grover Machine Heads give the guitar the best tuning stability and a traditional look.
The scratchplate has the Dove's traditional Inlayed Artwork. This is masterfully done and looks superb!
The Dove also has a built in Fishman Active pickup system wired to the strap end pin, powered by a 9v battery just inside the soundhole. This makes it perfect for live use and recording, without spoiling the look of the guitar.
Although second hand, it is in wonderful condition having only had light use. There are 1 or 2 small marks but they are not obvious and do not detract from the guitar in anyway.
Included is also the original Gibson Hard Case.
It has been professionally setup and comes with a 3 month warranty.
