Here we have a beautiful Matin D35 12-string from the very early 70s (Serial Number: 292029). This guitar is in remarkably good condition considering it's 50+ years of life! With a lovely age-yellowed Spruce top, a gorgeous 3-piece Rosewood back, Rosewood sides, Ebony fingerboard and bridge, and a slotted headstock with Grover encased machineheads. Obviously there will be some signs of use on a guitar of this vintage (see pics), but these are purely cosmetic and don't in any way affect the exceptional playability of this superb instrument.
It's the easiest 12-string dreadnought we've ever played and of course produces an outstanding world-class sound - a full, deep bass without getting boomy, combined with a clear, articulate top end. These quality timbers can't help but be properly seasoned by now!
It comes complete with a non-original shaped hardcase. This rare vintage instrument has been professionally restrung and setup and is ready to compliment a new owner's collection.
