Using my own curriculum, both ABRSM and Trinity syllabuses, I teach guitar, ukulele and music theory online and in person from Saunton Road Studios in Braunton. I teach a broad range of musical styles and like tailor my approach to the individual. Whether it’s classical, rock, funk or jazz, I’d be thrilled to help you on your musical journey! I offer fully equipped teaching/waiting spaces, so all you need is your instrument and a desire to learn.
I hold a first class honours degree in classical guitar from the Royal College of Music, London and a DipABRSM in instrumental teaching along with ABRSM Grade 8 guitar and music theory. I have over 5 years of experience leading national guitar ensembles, teaching in schools and running my private tuition service. I also studied the Alexander Technique for 4 years where I developed a deep understanding of correct posture when playing.
