The Gibson Les Paul Classic combines the early 60s style Les Paul model with some functional and time-tested modifications. As expected, the Les Paul Classic is crafted with a mahogany back and maple top coupled with a SlimTaper mahogany neck and a bound, rosewood fingerboard. '61 Burstbucker zebra, open-coil pickups provide classic Gibson tones from the era with a bit of extra punch thanks to the open coils. The control assembly features 4 push-pull pots, which provide choices of coil tapping, phase switching, and Pure Bypassing for functional and versatile sonic variety.
This example, made in the USA in 2023, is finished in a beautiful Honeyburst nitro-cellulose gloss lacquer. It's in overall very good condition, although this guitar does have one or two dings here and there and signs of use, the worst being one on the bottom of the neck heel and another on the back edge near the jack socket (see pics). However, we feel these don't really detract from what is a superb playing and versatile instrument.
Comes professionally restrung and setup, and complete with it's original black Gibson hardcase and leather strap.
